We killed 16 jackal and 3 bushpig this weekend.
My mate's kill with his pig gun (.45-70)
My friend Jaco, who runs a hound pack and bowfishing outfit organised a great day on saturday.

Re: Jackal and Bushpig
Thanks Glen. You seem like the only guy interested in animals hunted in South Africa (Judging by the lack of response).
This past weekend delivered 2 jackal, and a bushpig.
All were killed with my .204

Re: Jackal and Bushpig
Wow, you guys know how to have a good time! Thanks for sharing the pictures. I take it at least part of the hunting was at night. Do you hunt jackals at night easier than in the daylight or does it matter. I did some hog hunting at night in Texas and it was a blast. Is the bushpig good eating? Did you use the dogs for just the pigs? The site is a little slower in the summer when the sage rats are down and coyote hunting is slower. We love seeing the pictures, especially when from a different country than most of us.
Please, no Sidewinder today!

Yup, I'm definitely interested too. Sometimes this board is a little on the slow side. Heck I haven't even looked into this part of the forum for awhile.
Great pics.
