"Hog Pen" revisited

Post by hueys66 »

Got today off so I thought I would revisit the "hog pen". Stayed out there for an hour or so until she started heating up. As I pulled up I noticed a Golden Eagle sitting in the tree watching the patch. That explained why not too many were out but did end up getting a half a dozen dispatched. Only one went Booner status probably 12-13lbs and poked him at 418yds. Probably goin to give that patch a break but keep a close eye on it Was able to make a couple 100yd kill shots with the 17 hummer, what an effective cartridge.

And here is one of the 17's dispatched chucks. It was a sow, dang it!
