Got a grey today.

Post by cornstalker »

Smacked this old gal at 74 yards. Roughed her up a tad, the exit was about the size of a 50 cent piece. 40 grain berger.

It's hard to detect good luck, It looks so much like something you've worked hard for and earned.

We so desperately need snow...

I think it would drastically improve the predator hunting.

NICE!
The more coyotes I take with the 40 Bergers the more I like it. Wouldn't mind trying the 40 Noslers to see what they do.

Song Dog,
I admit to being curious about the Noslers, but with the effectiveness of the Berger's I see no reason to deviate. This little fox was the first critter to take a step after being shot with them. She ran about 35 yards and flopped over. The toothless old hag was the only thing we saw all day.

Clint,

Thanks.

Been chasing yotes lately?

You should go hunting with him. Just try to shoot when he is fooling with the TX500.... :D

I imagine he could provide some pretty stiff competition!

Hope to see you post up in the contest soon. Lord knows it has been tough for me lately.

Forgot to mention, this fox went down to a FoxPro CS24. I carried my Minaska 3 miles in just to realize I left the remote on and killed the batteries!! :wall:

Cornstalker songdog and do try to go calling when possible. We went night calln in november and he left his gun in the truck so i could get my first night dog. we succeeded in calling one but the shot would have been torward some houses so we had to pass on the shot.

Calln has been tough for me lately also. As for the contest we are in dead last right now but deer season is almost over hopefully i can get to wackn and stackn. The rest of the crew isnt haven much luck also.
Cs24s are sweet i think i can talk sd out of his
