We shot this female this morning in the far far north of California. It was windy and we did not have very high expectations. About 25min into the stand I hear my buddy rustling on the other side of the tree. As I looked over my shoulder I saw the cat sitting about 40 yards away looking to the direction of the call. Just then my buddy torched a shot off with the .17 Fireball and the cat jumped 6' straight up. When it landed it made it 10 feet and tumbled. Another tiny entry hole and no exit. Very cool!!
That makes three in the past three trips, we are on a roll.
