Another Fox Down

Post by Hawkeye Joe »

My alarm went off at 5am as usual. I got up and pulled the curtains back a crack and there he was sitting in my open gate. I grabbed my 22 mag and made my way outside. I think he heard my scope caps hit the ground, He then froze giving me a perfect shot at about 80 yards. This time it was a bang flop :D . That's the exit wound in his lower neck. The 33 grain Remington Vmax destroyed his front shoulder on the exit side. I think it hit the bone and deflected out his neck.

Here's the entrance :D

And here's where the shot was taken from the prone position with a bipod. The fox was sitting in the open gate just above the fire pit  NEXT.. Now serving #3
