2016 Mn firearms season buck

Post by savageboy23 »

Opening morning of the the 2016 MN firearms deer season I had some luck on my side finally. I shot myself a nice 8pt buck. I hunt Central MN and am in the shot gun slug hunting zone and this guy walked within 25 yards which was his fatal mistake.

Anyone ever seen a detail like this on bucks they have harvested?

Awesome Buck...Congratulations!

I saw a few Illinios Bucks at a Whitetail Show a few years ago that had similar holes in their Antlers,a Guy there told me it from Bugs or Parasites that get into the Antlers at an early stage/velvet and bore holes that cause it?

That's a great-looking buck! Congratulations, man! I didn't know parasites can infect a buck's antlers, though.

Nice buck, dude. Never seen anything like those antlers.

I hunt just west of you in the Detroit Lakes area. Looking forward to 2017.
