2016 Washington Black Bear

Post by Guy M »

Yesterday, 325 yards from sitting, no rest. Used my .30-06 Rem 700 CDL with an old 2-7x Redfield. Ammo was handloaded 165 gr Nosler Ballistic Tip over H4350 for abotu 2900 fps. One shot and done. I like that.

Regards, Guy

Congrats, Guy, on an ethical kill and a nice Black Bear. That' s the way it should be done, one shot, one kill.

That's indeed an ethical kill. Only one shot to put the bear out of its misery. Great marksmanship! :)
