Check out this amazing bull that was taken last week down on the Boulder Mountains. This guy did this himself, a true DIY hunt. Utah is producing some amazing bulls. The only problem is the 30 year wait to draw a tag!

It is a blessing and a curse to have such big elk roaming the hills. Everyone who draws the limited entry tags expects to shoot a 380+ bull. More and more hunters are concerned with the score of the animal and fail to appreciate the experience and thrill of the hunt. I would be tickled pink to harvest any branch antlered bull. But the big ones sure are fun to look at!

There was another elk taken in Southern Utah that grossed over 440". When the pictures are released I'll post one here. Lots of big elk falling this year.
