I would have loved to see them. We were on the wrong side of Marfa. We stopped by the visitors center on the way home but it was daylight.

We were doing a night hunt and got to see a thunderstorm down over Mexico. It was ovecast and not a light in the sky except for the lightning. We stopped hunting and just sat and watched the storm pass. We also heard a bird, I don't remember what they called it, but it would sing all night long and had a beautiful sound.

Here is another storm that passed through late in the afternoon before our night hunt. Looking south into Mexico.

Enjoy it while you have it, because things will change.
