I don't think the GB rifle is going away any time soon. It's priced a tad bit, eh, optimistically.

For a Jackson with the extras, that's not really a bad price. Call a dealer and see what they go for new.

I found a brand new one from an authorized dealer for less than $1,700 after 30 seconds of Google time. To me, the marginal price difference makes the GB rifle (with two stock dings) poorly priced. YMMV.

You win, point made.

I'm not trying to win or say your point isn't valid. I am just saying that from my personal perspective the gun is overpriced. Someone else might find it a good buy and I have no problem with that either. At the end of the day, I hope we all buy and shoot what makes us happy.

Sorry Mike, I'm taking prednisone for a torn rotator cuff and it's wacking me out! Moody and touchy as he11.

What can you find for a Cooper 21 MTV in 20 VarTarg? The only one I could find was on GA for $1695. My Google-fu is weak. :(

VarTarg - if you like grey laminated, there's a .204 at Cabelas in Wheeling for $1499. Whittaker's in Owensboro, KY has a .204 M21 Varminter for $1539.
