I really love the way it shoots but I really don't like the safety on top. If it wasn't for that I wouldn't sell it. It has 20 or less rounds through it. Just a few to sight it in and never had it out in the field. This would make a great/SUPERB calling rifle. Actually better than new cuz it is sighted in, but can't guarantee it would be that way after shipping

I would like to ask you what type of rifle scope is on top that savage in the post? How far are you away from the big city of St. Louis MO? Also did you purchase this rifle new and what model is this rifle please? I am also curious as to the accuracy of the rifle from the bench!

It is a Simmons that they put in their package. Its a 4x12x40 and is really clear. Don't know which model but I would buy one.

I am roughly 45 minutes kinda north east of St.Louis.

Song Dog........How long you had this rifle and what kind of accuracy did you get at the bench?

I have had it since April or May. If I remember right, it was at .5 at 100, its been awhile since I had it out to shoot. It has sit here eversince in a case.
