I use standard 5.56 pMags in my .30RAR and I've never had a problem. I know you're looking for factory mags, but just thought I'd throw that out there. I LOVE the 30rar! It's a heck of a hunting cartridge.

Trent, I'll try a PMag tonight. Never thought to try that. Thanks for the idea!
Yep, it's a nice caliber. The kids can hunt with it, with some front-end support. I've taken two whitetail bucks with mine. If you can ever find them, try some Hornady 110 gr VMaxs and H4198. Mine will cloverleaf them at 100 yds off bags. I load 150 gr Accubonds for hunting. It pushes them fast enough for good penetration and expansion.

I'll give the 110gr Vmax a try. I've been using the 125gr and 150gr Nosler BTs and am really impressed with them. I've shot two deer and three wild hogs and they've all collapsed in they're tracks without so much as a twitch. I wish Remington (or any manufacturer) would support this cartridge. I'd also LOVE to see a 6.5RAR.
