Can anyone tell me why old posts for sale or trade & already sold post are not being removed??? It would be nice if those who post these remove them once they are over. Saves users time finding good stuff & not wasting time looking thru JUNK !!! PLEASE remove you old JUNK.!!

I didn't know that users could remove threads? I agree it is common courtesy to update a thread when an item sells, but sometimes people get side-tracked and forget. Especially if they post items for sale in multiple forums. While sometimes frustrating, I chalk it up as part of the deal when shopping on internet forums.

I prefer old ads NOT be removed. Do mark them "SPF", but don't remove them. Also do not remove the sale price. This helps sellers and buyers judge the current market price for items they are selling or buying.

The original post date and last reply date are clearly shown without even opening the thread. Guess I don't see the problem. As mentioned, it can be handy to use an old thread for reference.

Also, rember the top Forum selection is: WARNING! Rugerhunting.com support does not exist!!

So we'll have to suffer some boo boos time-to time.

I've bumped into the same thing time to time  , lol!!
