I have the opportunity to get a very lightly used Zeiss Conquest 4-14x40 for a good price. I thought about using it on my new Tikka T3 Lite in 22-250 as a dedicated coyote rifle. Any thoughts as to how that scope would work on that caliber for that target?

I think it would be just the ticket for your application.Set on low power(5)will give you all the light you need for low light conditions .Yotes beware!

I have a Nikon 4.5x-14x on my .204 and it works great.....I don't think that you will be disappointed.....the terrain that you hunt will dictate better what glass will be best for you......

Well, I pulled the trigger on it. My Talley rings showed up yesterday. I hope to get it mounted and shot this weekend. I'll post my feedback after that.

I use a 5 X 15 Bushnell Tactical on my predator and varmint rifles! I see no reason why your Zeiss scope would not be a golden key to taking "song dogs".

I have a nikon 6- 12 x on my ar in 204. All I do is Coyote hunt with it. After calling many dogs inside of 15 yards I seldom go higher than 6 or 8 power. It is much faster to get on targetas your feild of veiw is much larger. I may start hunting them with my shotgun. No Kidding when calling yotes they often come in too close for comfort!
