Zeiss Victory Rangefinder

Just thought I'd give a quick shout out for my new toy. I had been researching rangefinders for some time now. Of course, I looked hard at the Leica series. For all the Leupold scope lovers out there, didn't seem to like their range finders much. I was surprised by that. I have a Zeiss Conquest scope on my .204 so I felt partial to give the Zeiss RF a try. Man do I love that thing. It's very fast and easy to use. I especially like how it has an 8x lens. I actually stopped carrying my binos to my coyote sets. I can use it as a great monocular and then range find something when I see it. I'm going to toss it right into my, "How in heaven did I ever live without this thing before?!" bucket. :-)

So what rangefinders are all you fellars using? Any thoughts about em, pros/cons?

Sounds wonderful. I'm afraid to ask how much it cost.

It was right even with the Leica. I don't know how I got along without one. IMO, a good range finder is an indispensable tool.

A good rangefinder is handy to have. I pick up a Bushnell Legend 1200 ARC last fall on sale. I love it. Bow and rifle modes, true horizontal distance, built-in ballistics, waterproof, easy to use and to switch modes. It's only 6X so binos are still needed for long range glassing.
