Just got my new Howa model 1500 today. LOVE IT!!!!!! Joined my buddies Randy and Brandon at the rage today and was driving tacks!!! I am addicted. Cant wait to hunt with it.

Welcome, anytime spent shooting or hunting with buddies is a good time! This is a great place for info. and full of nice friendly people to chat with. I can't wait for some nice weather to get out and try some new loads for my Cooper 204 Ruger. Enjoy, Rudy.

Welcome to the board. I think you will really like that Howa. Bought mine about 6 yrs ago. For a factory rifle, I think it is the best buy on the market. You may consider a Timney trigger in the future. It made all the difference in mine. Let us know how she shoots, and of coarse we all like rifle porn!

Welcome aboard! Need to see the rifle porn though! Love to see the pics on here. I think the howa will do you a good job. (especially since I saw the .3 groups at 100 yds you put up with it your first time out!) Nice shooting imo!

Don, I told my wife that it was in my best intrest to buy the Cooper when it comes to town. I said you had the deal made with Kirby. I told her my dispatch's may be very ugly If I didnt buy the Cooper.....IT WORKED

I may have led your hubby astray when he asked if he should get a 223 or 22-250 for prairie dogs, and I replied 204!! But I am a long way from the godfather of the 204!! But thanks for the high position you put me in, even tho I don't deserve it.
