The turn in rings are the universal, with the rear being wndage adjustable, via the opposing screws in the base.Burris and Leupld bases are interchangeable. The Z rings work on the slotted bases like weaver etc.

Since the 204 has almost no recoil, it does not make much difference. I like the Burris bases as they are steel and of good quality. I put the Burris Signature rings on my rifles as well.

+1 on the Zee rings. The inserts allow windage/elevation adjustment w/o using up internal adjustment.

I went with the Burris Xtreme tactical rings and an EGU picatiny base. It allows for a lot of adjustment and seems to be very solid, even though, like mentioned earlier, the .204 recoil is negligible.

I like the Double Dovetails (Leupold call the Dual Dovetail). Even though recoil not an issue with 204 as others have said - no windage screw to work loose ever. They also look neat and clean - if that matters to you.

I have the "universal" on 3 scopes; I love the way they fit (and don't scratch the scope either).
