What kind of rings do you guys use for your AR-15s? Im new to the AR-15 world and need some help. My dad has a DPMS 223 with the Pinicanny (sp?) style rail. what rings would work good for that?

If by picatanny rail you mean and A3 flat top upper, I use a bsquare riser w/ the 3 torque screws to secure it down. Then on top of the riser I use Burris Sig. Zee rings or Burris XTR rings. If it is a flat top, you will need a riser in my opinion......I think mine was around $50-60 shipped from Midway. -Dan

I've always been a fan of the one piece Armalite mounts. :wtg:

Yes, they should work. However, for me, the scope would sit way too low. It would be very hard to get my line of sight that down low to see thru the scope. That is why I had to go with a riser.

This is what I have and I have NO complaints about it. It is built strong and that is what I was looking for. This is the one I have:

B-Square Picatinny-Style Riser Mount AR-15 Flattop Matte
Product #: 512210

Hope this helps. -Dan
