Leupold comes thru!

I just put a new stock and .920 stainless barrel on a 10/22. I had a Leupold 4-12x40mm LR scope that i took off my .223, and didn't have a rifle for it, so i put it on the 10/22. i went out to sight in and found out that the vertical adjustment would not move. i called leupold and they said to send it in for warranty, which i did. within 8 days i got the scope back. i reinstalled the scope on the 10/22 and went to sight it in. after a lot of adjusting vertically, i ran out of adjustment. i knew i had to shim the rear mount and was going thru the paperwork that leupold sent with the repaired scope. in the paperwork, i saw where they would send shims at no cost. so i called leupold and explained my problem and asked about the shims. the tech i talked to said that indeed, they would send the shims i needed and they are on the way as we speak.
i have only had a problem with one other scope in my life, a simmons, and i thought they were good. never had a problem with any of my lupy's till now, but i believe leupold has the best warranty on the market, and the absolute fastest. :hail: :wtg:

Yep, same experience here as well.

Sent a 12X in a little over a year ago, told them I bought it second hand, and they STILL sent a new scope as a replacement.

One week ago, I sent my #2 Leupy 12X in, they repaired it, and it is in transit back to me. I don't know how this scope was treated prior to me owning it, but, I do know that this scope has printed sub 8" groups at 1000 yards in my Savage 112 single shot chambered in 300 Win Mag (using 175, 178, 180, & 208 grain bullets over Retumbo).
