Nikon Buckmaster scopes

Post by Va varminter »

I just bought myself a post Christmas present with some gift cards I got for presents. Nikon Buckmaster 3-9x40. I really like this scope. I notice I can pick up the retical quickly when I bring the scope to my eye. And Light transmition is great. When I compared it to a VXII 3-9x40 I have, it seems brighter. This is the 1st nikon I have bought, so far so good.

I just picked up a used 204 Ruger and it came with a Nikon Buckmaster 4.5-14X40. Looks like a nice clear scope. Hope to get it out tomorrow and shoot a few rounds.

I just purchased a Savage 12FV in 204 Ruger with a Nikon Buckmaster scope with mil dots in weaver medium mounts and rings.
Haven't been out to sight it in yet but hopefully soon.
The scope sits really close to the barrel when I put the scope caps on the front one above the barrel fit a little to snug so I used a dremel tool with a sanding drum on the inside of the cap top and bottom fits really fine now.
I have seen my share of scopes in my time and for the money it's a really nice scope.
