Just the other day received a new N-S Platinum Nighteater 8-32x44 and had a chance to try it out. It seems like a pretty good scope so far. It came with a 4" sunshade, but no lens caps. Sunny day, and at high power, did show a bit of fade, but to be expected. The only thing I don't care for is the "soft click" on adjustments. Side focus works great. Fine cross hair reticle seems perfect for me for targets. About $160 at Cheaper-Than-Dirt.

I have 4 of the 6-24x56 30 mm mildot & side focus. For $169, these are the best scope for the money. These are fully multi coated...which helps. But, things do go froggy in the 22X range and up.

I leave the scope on 16x and shoot away....using the mildots as rangefinding on prairie dogs.

The 204 & 223 are sighted for 300 yard zero. The 243 & 223 AI are both wearing the same scope as well.
