Scope recommendations

Post by savageboy23 »

I have recently acquired a browning a-bolt .300 win mag for a very reasonable price(also came with 80 Rounds of premium factory ammo). I’m trying to decide on a scope for this rifle. I have 2 in mind but would like to hear what everyone else thinks. The scopes I am looking at are the vortex viper hs 2.5-10x44(30mm tube) and the Leupold vx 3i in 3.5-10x40. I own both brands of scopes and I’m happy with both brands. Any other input is welcomed

Rifle will mainly for hunting and out west and maybe an elk hunt.

I am like you, have and use both of those brand of scopes on some of my rifles. either would work and I would have a very hard time choosing between them. But with that said, I would go with the Leupold, and be happy with it on the 300 Mag. Bill K :)

Either would be great glass for that 300 WIN. Go with the best deal you can find.

I pulled the trigger on the Vortex VIper HS. I’m excited to shoot this rifle when spring comes and the snow melts.
