Yesterday, I visited the Kesselring shop in Burlington and had Don Kesselring install the subject site onto my 1911 pistol. Today I used a Leupold optical device to zero it and will visit the range to shoot it more. If it works out, and I expect it will my plan is to purchase another one for my 629 4 inch. Nothing in the Leupold product line of optical scope other than the Delta point is satisfactory in my view for pistol sight.
Now having looked at the thing, I think it will be excellent for my hunting shotguns and my various heavy revolvers. Application of telescopic sights require eye relief of approximately 20 inches And suitable reticles. I would also like to see scopes with stainless appearance to match my 629 stainless pistol. Pistol scopes do not require a lot of bells and whistles. Such things as illuminated reticles, ballistic functionalities, etc. are just not required.
