Clearidge Optics

Post by Lenard »

I had been looking for a good scope with more power than my 4-12 to mount on my 204. I had made my mind up I was not going to spend $700-$1000 for a scope. Just my upbringing I guess. I then did quite a bit of reading and research and decided to call Clearidge Optics.

They told me that their scopes were made in Japan by the same company that built the Bushnell and Weaver scopes. They said they would give me a 15 day return if I did not like the scope so I purchased a 6-20 with a duplex + mildots, target turrets, 1".
I have shot a couple hundred round thru the gun since buying it and here is what I like.

The scope is very bright and clear all the way to the edges on any power.
The difference in the eye relief between 6 power and 20 power is miniscule. Makes it easy to get a full field without moving the head.

The adjustments are 1/8" and very absolute. It comes back to zero just perfectly.
The parallex goes down to 10'. Changing parallax brings the scope clear to whatever distance I am shooting.

I bought it with the matt finish which I like very much.

The scope has a lifetime warranty, transferrable. Their policy is to replace the scope instead of repair. The cost was $329 shipped.

Never heard of them, but sounds like you found a great product. Hope it does well for you out in the "rat" fields.
