Have not mounted the scope on a rifle or shot it...yet. Initial review....well...WOW!
Adjustable eyepiece, side focus, turrets, mildots, and clarity - yep, all there.
5" sunshade and flip covers were included as well.
Will try to get this one to the range ASAP on a 300 win mag.

Almost forgot, these can be had for $305 + shipping on the net.

acloco,
I was worried you might be a half bubble off, but now you can straighten out whenever you shoot that rifle. Good deal.

Hotshot - I have NEVER been accused of being a half a bubble off......seems that people tend to believe I am at LEAST a full bubble off....or more!

Re: Konus Pro M30 7282 8.5-32x52
1st range trip report!
Began at 6.45 pm with the sun on the right, over my shoulder, with a light cloud cover (no direct sun).
Scope is ok. I left the sunshade on to see how well it collected light. Side by side comparison with a Leupold VX3 8.5-25x50...well, there is not comparison. The Konus Pro is a little cloudy at 24/25 power, where the Leupy is still clear. But, there is at least a $750 difference in price.
In the low light conditions, by now 8:20 pm, I could make out 223 bullet holes at 300 yards, so, it is not ALL bad.
Will take the sunshade off on the next range trip.
Oh...bottom line...is it worth the $300. Yep. But, I believe I would still buy the 6-24x56 Nikko Stirling for $204 from Cheaper than Dirt first.

Acloco-My dealer has one of the scopes you're talking about in the display counter. I have one Konus scope and for the price I'm impressed with the quality. In fact its on my 204. Originally my thoughts were to use it on this rifle temporarily until I could afford a nice Luppy but I've since changed my mind. The Konus is doing just fine. I really wouldn't have a problem with buying another one. Dave

Greystone - which power did you go with?
Is it clear at top power?

I'm using the 6-24 Konos Pro. I shoot at 24 power at the range all the time and seems to be very clear as long as I have the parallax set correctly. I haven't been able to make any side by side comparisons but if I get a chance I sure will. I bought this thing on ebay for a hundred bucks a couple of years ago and its been one of the better hundred bucks that I've spent. So far I like the Konus scopes but thats just my 2 cents worth. Hrmmm...Think I may have to look into one of these.
I went out on a limb with a Mueller and wasn't disappointed one bit! Hopefully I have the same luck here!
