Just bought a boresighter

Post by Rick65Cat »

Just picked up one of those magnetic boresighters by Bushnell. I was all worried about how hi or low to set the thing on the end of the barrel. Then I discover it doesn`t matter how hi up or down you slide this thing....The grid never moves!
How the he!! does that work??

It's magic! I have the Leupold version and it works great on all but one rifle. I've used it on at least 15 with only the one problem barrel.

Well there has to be some logical explanation. Theres nothing in the instructions on "how" it works. Does the same thing up and down and side to side.

I've never used one of those things. I allways just pull the bolt out and sight down the bore. The range I go to will bore sight my other rifles, the ones that I can't just pull the bolt out of, for free.
