I need a new case trimmer any suggestions ?

Take a look at Sinclairintl.com. Really like mine.

I have a Forster trimmer that I have used for twenty years, Never needed anything else.

The L.E. Wilson case trimmers have worked GREAT for me for many years.

Another Forster fan here. I got a power tool adapter and use my electric screwdriver for big jobs.

As far as a power adapter for the Forster all you have to do is to unscrew the handle and screw on a couple of fine threaded 5/16 nuts-if memory serves me correctly- and use a nut driver in your cordless. Works fine. Dave

Could you post a picture of your trimmer with the cordless on it. I too have used a Forester for 35 years and haven't had any problems but I've got 1000+ cases I need to trim.

Melvin, I don't have the nutdriver set-up, but do have the factory power adapter..........Milwaukee cordless screwdriver works great.

There is also Gracey and Dillon power trimmers. For the Dillon, a case trim die is needed.

For what I posted, I really do not want to sink that much money into that setup but I'm having issues with getting or finding setups that accommodate the 204. I guess I will have to do some better digging.

I have a Wilson but mine is old and can only be mounted on bench vice, which means trimming my my garage.

You haven't seen my garage!

So, I have considered another alternative that I have read on the internet: Some guys on the internet are taking $4.95 Lee case trimmers in 22-250, and mounting the pilot to a drill. A little oil and 600 grit sand paper later, they've sanded down the center pilot thin enough to accept a .204 case. Then they carefully trim enough off the indexing tip (for lack of a better term) and they have perfectly functional .204 case trimmer.

May have to try it myself....

Or......buy a Possum Hollow case trimmer. Indexes on the shoulder. Just buy one for a 223 (23 degree shoulder - same as 204)....adjust the cutter.....and be done.

Works slicker than slick...and you can use a medium to high speed drill.
