I have some componets to develop an 25.06, but I cannot find any data for what I have. I want to use IMR 4895, 110 Nos Accubond.

What would you recommend as a starting point for what I have? Would like to use other powder but having a hard time finding anything. So if you could help for what I have, any input would be great.

When (if) powder supplies loosen up a bit, try H-4350 or H-4831SC, and maybe Re-22, and I'd bet lunch money that you'd find a better, more productive load with those powders.

Paul: I shoot .270 Win and 30-06 in the same case, and the others are right, give H4831 a try. According to the Nosler No.6 manual, the highest velocity with the 110gr Accubond is with Retumbo - 59.0grs = 3267 fps. I'd aslo try RL19 too, and Nosler lists it as: 52.0grs = 3213 fps. Both listed loads are max, so start below and work up.

I think you'll find that RL22 is too slow for use in that case with the 110gr bullet, as Nosler doesn't even list it. I've tried it in my .270W, and found it was too slow for any decent performance.

H4831 with the 110gr AB in the Nosler manual: 51.0grs = 3131 fps. This powder is the true workhorse in the '06 case, and was Jack O'Connor's favorite for many years. Nosler lists it as the most accurate powder tested for the 110gr AB in the No.6 manual. The "SC" or Short Cut version is much easier to meter and work with. Burning rate is about identical to the 'standard' version too. The load and velocity I listed above is the Short Cut version, and 51.0grs is the listed max for both versions.

By the way, 4895 is not one of the listed suitable powders for the .25-06 Rem and the 110gr Accubond. It is however listed using the lighter 85gr bullets. Heavier hunting bullets require slower burning powders.
