At the range this am. Shot my 204 for group and 223AI to begin load workup.

Friend, gunsmith, and all around good guy arrived to shoot revolvers with his wife. She wanted to practice revolvers more, so they arrived with several toys in tow.

She fired 5 rounds from a 357 and, THANKFULLY, noticed the 5th round did not strike target.

Bullet was stuck in the end of the barrel...NO POWDER in the case.

Yes, these were reloads....but it can happen to ANYBODY!

At lest she noticed some thing wasn't right and found the problem. And thank god no one was hurt.

I missed a row of 5 while adding powder a while back . It just went "click" like a dry fire. The bullet didn't move at all. I wonder if it was just a very light load. I always weigh every powder charge and now look in each round with a flash light to be sure powder is there and to the proper level. My QC department keeps inforcing new rules. I guess it's for my own good. It only takes 30 seconds to scan a block of 50

When we were in high school, I loaded a .240 Weatherby mag. for my brother that had no powder. The bullet lodged just far enough in the barrel so that the next round couldn't be chambered. We got very lucky. The only time I have problems now is when I get interrupted while loading.
