This has absolutely nothing to do with the 204, but since I don't know anyone that reloads that doesn't also load for pistols too I figured, why not ask?

My question is this .. Is it possible to incorporate graphite powder into my alloy to make self lubing bullets? Recently, I was given a gallon size ziplock baggie full of powdered graphite and am trying to find a use for it.. If not in the lead itself, I figured to mix it in with the liquid alox.

I cast all my pistol and revolver bullets, and use Rooster Red lube or Javlina. You may be able to tumble the slugs in that graphite, but I'm not sure how much of the stuff will adhere to the bullets.

When I plate rifle bullets with WS2, I use a RCBS rotary tumbler with 3/16" burnishing balls (bearings), but I'm not sure how impact plating would affect lead alloy bullets; guess you have to try to find out. Let us know if it works or not.
