Midsouth Varmint Nightmare Extreme BC

Post by Sidewinderwa »

I need some assistance. I am going to Boomershoot and want to use the 55 grain .224 bullet in Midsouth's Varmint Nightmare Extreme bullet. I need the BC so that I can make a drop chart but I cannot find it anywhere. It shoots well in my AR, 1/2 inch and some 1/4 inch groups at 100 yards. The consensus is that they are made by Nosler, some say Hornady. Any help would be appreciated.

The .157 may well be it. Do not know for sure.. My 55 grain Midsouth do have a Cannelure and I do put a very slight crimp in it for shooting in my AR. In the other rifles (224 cal) I do not bother with crimping. They are in fact made by Nosler for both Midsouth and Midway (Dog town bullets) and are a basic cup/lead bullet. They work very well, for the money, on various varmints and do save money, when you shoot thousands at times. :D Bill K :D

Thanks for the info. I should have said that I have the hollow point bullets, I forgot that they have different bullets. Mine do not have the cannelures either. I have the Redding bushing die and it has been working out well for me.
