NEW Die Bushings

Here is a close up picture of our new die bushings. These bushings will work in Redding and Whidden dies as well as others. Our bushings utilize a very smooth Radius at the entry point into the bushing versus a chamfer like the other companies offer. This creates less stress on the brass as well as ease of use when sizing brass down from one caliber to another. I tested one of the bushings earlier tonight and sized down from .241 directly to .228 without any damage to the brass. The bushings are made from D2 Tool Steel and heat treated to approximately Rockwell c60. We hand polish the inside to a very smooth finish. The picture doesn't show it but we will also be engraving the bushing size and company initials into the face of the bushing.

After a long delay we are getting closer to offering our bushings for sale. We just received the first run back from heat treat. We are now in the process of hand polishing and inspecting the bushings. Notice the engraving on the bushings, its CNC machined into the face of the bushing using some very small tooling in the Haas VF2 mill. The second picture shows the packaging that the bushings will arrive in (it doesn't show up well in the picture however the data card and bushing are inside of a clear plastic sleeve). http://www.customreloadingtools.com/crt_016.htm

I happened on to the website selling these bushing dies after finding the sizes I needed were out of stock (of course) at the regular suppliers I use. After receiving my first order, all I can say is, "Wow, finally a better source with great prices and super fast shipping!" Keep up the good work and the high quality. No more R*****g overpriced bushings for me.
