Wipe-Out/Patch-Out Results
I have been reading how this really pulls the copper out, sooo I am trying it. On my second day of patching/soaking now. The first 2 times my patches look like denim from my jeans. This is from a model 12 Savage in 243, maybe 2000 down the tube. My usual cleaning was Hoppes #9 and a nylon brush, Butches Bore Shine and nylon brush then Hoppes #9 patch only. I am starting to wonder HOW this barrel will shoot when it is CLEAN. It was good before, wondering if it will need extensive "fouling shoots" to get back where it was or will it be better than before???? Anyone gone through this before?? What kind of accuracy changes were noticed???

i have noticed my rifles require about 3 or 4 foulers after i use Wipeout/patchout to clean them. It is amazing how clean you can get a barrel with the proper cleaning supplies.

OK, started Monday and finished on Saturday morning. This guy is CLEAN. Gave it a good scrub with bore paste and have it ready to drop some foulers and then shoot a group to see what happens. Just a little afraid it won't shoot as well as before.

Put some Colloidal Graphite on a patch and run it down the bore. I doubt if you will need any foulers.

I shot two foulers after use and I don't think I need to
Thanks for the great products. I really like the range tray

That's a nice target, and worthy of the label

My first shot was almost 2 inches from the next 4 shots. It was so hot Saturday, my hold wasn't good and my group wasn't much better....try again on a cooler day. I waited 2 or 3 minutes between shots and the barrel was getting HOT.
