CRT's Bench Trays

Post by Rick in Oregon »

Most here are familiar with Brad's (CustomReloadingTools.com) nicely CNC-made reloading tools, specifically his loading and bench blocks/trays.

Not fond of my empty cases getting their heavily worked-on case mouths getting dinged in the haste of rat-combat by dropping them in the bench tray, today I lined the bottom of the tray with tanned deer-hide leather, roughout side up for a bit of padding.

No big deal, I just don't like my cases hitting metal, and this seems to have solved a minor issue. Just thought I'd pass it along. :D
(Those are freshly formed, neck-turned, annealed and fireformed .20 VarTarg cases in the tray w/32gr Nosler BT's in the loaded cases.)

Very nicely done, RIO.......

I own one of Brad's reloading trays for the .22 Hornet, and today ordered one of his VLD chamfer tools.....

Extremely well made and beautifully finished workmanship!

great idea RIO it looks great.

Vartarg--I also ordered one of Brads VLD chamfer tools. He makes fine tools and I thought I'd add another to my collection.
It's hard to detect good luck, It looks so much like something you've worked hard for and earned.

I am currently working on many new projects. I have a Range Tray coming soon for the 22-250 sized cartridges as well as a Range tray for the PPC cartridges. I am also working on a Stainless Steel Bolt Handle replacement for the CZ 527 Rifle. I have a couple other projects in the works, however i am not ready to reveal those just yet. The best way to stay up to date on my new stuff is by signing up for my monthly newsletter. You can sign up by visiting my website, the signup is on the main page. :)
