IMR4895 vs H4895

Post by TD-Max »

Is ther any REAL difference? I see they are grouped together as to burn rate. Hodgdon groups theirs with their Extreme powders so I'd lean that way.

Load data interchangeable?

From my experience, no the H4895 has been a little hotter.

I shoot the H4895 because it is a temperature insensitive powder. Most of the shooters use the H over the IMR, that I have seen.
