Hey guys. Was wondering if anyone knew where to get a stand that will hold the micrometer while trying to use it? I have looked through Midway and can't find anything. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks! -Dan
P.S. I think it is a RCBS, but i will check when i get a chance.

Re: Micrometer stand????
Danny--I have owned a couple of tubing mics for measuring neck wall thickness and a few other reloading items for a long time. The mic in the photos is my Mitutoyo mic. I was coveting a mic stand and looked at the various models offered by many different providers. I didn't like many of the holders mainly because they were pretty pricey for an old retired guy like me
I finally wound up buying a Pony clamp that has nylon/rubber? sleeves over the jaws and rigged up an old piece of metal I had lying around cobbled the two of them together and use a wood screw to mount that on my bench whenever I need a micrometer stand. Here are a few photos of what I use. It is definitely an economical mic stand and it works GREAT, even if I do have to say so myself
You can see the way my mic holder is fastened to the bench in the photo below:
Here's a close-up photo of my fancy device I use to hold the Pony clamp to the bench:
Hey!!! Quit laughing--the doggone thing works just fine!!!
