Does any one have any pet accuracy loads for the .22-250 using WW 760? Previously I have used H380 and H 414 but i found a couple of unopened cans of 760 in my powder box so I might as well use it up and I am looking for some proven suggestions without re-inventing the wheel. Thanks

Re: WW 760 in .22-250
My rifle likes 42.0 grains behind the Remington 55 HPPL bullet with a CCI200 primer for 3700 fps. Sporter weight (Shilen #2) 24" barrel, averages under 3/4" 3 shot groups at 100 yards. My barrel is long throated and this is a max load, so work up to it.

Years ago, I loaded my ruger 22-250 with W760. The loads were from an article in Handloader Magazine. The Article was by Bob Hagel. 39 grains worked well for me. 41 grains was accurate also, but the primer pockets were expanded and wouldn't retain a new primer. The load mentioned above might to great in some rifles but proceed with caution!

I have a M700 VLS in 22-250. I load the 50 gr NBT with 36.0 grs Varget, Federal GM210M primer in a W-W case. Avg vel is 3720 fps and she shoots .5".
