Re: 40 grain vmax.... my thoughts.

Thanks Micheal, The rifle is definately getting better in regard to the amount of shots before cleaning is required, maybe it has a tight chamber and barrel, so just keep plugging away eh , Benchmark 2 would be ok i guess , according to the charts the pressure would be up by heaps, prehaps i should ...

Re: 40 grain vmax.... my thoughts.

Re: 40 grain vmax.... my thoughts.

I have not tried the 39 sierra , i didnt think that there would be much difference between the 40 and 39 `s , :?: Do sierra do a 32 or thereabouts grain for the 204 ? As much as i am happy with the 32 vmax , i have always used sierra projectiles in everything in years gone by, its just i havent got ...

Re: 204 short barrel?

Hi Jeff , first of all ..... merry xmas to you to , I have not had used a short barrel 204 but i guess the affects would be a bit of a loss in velocity ( they reckon 1 inch of barrel is worth 100 feet per second ) , maybe you would have to use a slightly faster burning rate powder cause i am led to ...

The only rifle i have other than the 204 that would be as devestating ( this may sound a bit strange to some ), wait for it .......... is my model 94 Wi...
