I actually own a Savage 17 WSM and am a fan of the Accutrigger. Very few dealers here in Ireland stock Savage rifles.....204's are like hens teeth! I shoot savages as well as AR's and like the RRA 2 stage varmint because it feels similar to the savage acccu trigger. What do you have on the barrel for a flash or compensator. Some of the flash suppressors can affect accuracy You might try a group or two with out it and see

I work at a big diesel shop and we use Techron to get rid of carbon. Makes removal a lot easier I have never tried it on a gun. Cant think of why it wouldn't work
