CFE 223 was THE powder that got me my best groups. BLC-2, IMR 4895 and Vihtavuori N130 has also worked well. I was only able to find a pound too, but am on the lookout for more. I have a couple of pounds of Pro-Varmint that I haven't tried yet, but will soon.

I have enough CFE to last for awhile and looking forward to trying some with the VG. The upper middle target was using Vihtavuori N130 and it worked pretty well.

Sounds like fun Skipper. I just spent a day last week at the range doing some shooting with my 204, 270 Win, and 308 Win. Mixed results, but still happy with my 204. Here are some 10 shot strings.

Stop chasing FPS, remember a accurate load, placed in the proper spot, trumps FPS, every time. Work a ladder test and find a couple of the most accurate loads in YOUR rifle.
