Lee resizing lubricant for bullet coating?

I want to try a different coating for my .204 & .17 cal bullets other than moly or WS2. I was told that the Lee resizing lubricant is the same as the SPL coating. Can someone give me directions on how to apply the Lee lubricant? Thanks.......

Re: Hand Primer tool

Dave, Been using the Lee auto prime for along time. A couple of months ago I broke the handle on my auto prime that was over 10 years old. I called Lee and expected to pay for the replacement handle due to it's age. They sent me a new handle that day at no cost. Ken On sale at Midway. http://www.mid...

Re: Systems keeps logging me off

I've had Mcafee pop-up while on this site a number of times with "script removed" warnings. PM'ed Glen about it and never got a response from him, so I check the posts now maybe once a week and never bother loging in. I guess no big loss

Re: Remington XR-100 RANGEMASTER Opinions???

Mark, If you're set on keeping the Encore, give Match Grade Machine a call. The standard barrels they use are from Shilen who offers only the 1-12 and 1-9 twist in .204, but they will order special barrels from other manufacturers. I would suggest having them order a Pac Nor barrel for your Encore i...

Re: New build custom project

Adam, I had a 20 Practical (223 necked down to 20 cal.) built awhile back and I chose a Pac Nor 1-10 twist. Like you I don't care to shoot the 32gr., my rifle shoots the 40gr Vmax and Nosler BT's under a .5 inch and no loss in velocity do to the fast twist. Ken

Re: Bone cracker

Gube, amazing photos! I've seen this once before with different results. While a buddy and I were bow hunting whitetails many moons ago, a 6 pointer stepped out of the woods directly at him. He hit him right between the eyes and knocked him on his a$$. The buck stood back up, shook his head violentl...

Re: Nikon custom reticle?

Just a quick update: In reading Lee's site I found this passage: Note 1: Some scopes are not made to come apart. To determine if your scope can have a Lee Dot installed, hold your scope with the light behind you and look into the scope eyepiece, but not through it. Your are looking down in the eyepi...

Re: Nikon custom reticle?

Thanks Hotshot. I found Lee's website, www.scopedot.com. I'm not sure if a dot reticle is the way to go. Anybody shot pdogs with a dot reticle and if so what size dot would you recommend? Thanks

Nikon custom reticle?

Hey guys, I have a Nikon Monarch 5.5 - 16.5 w/ the Nikoplex reticle mounted on my 221 FB. I used this combo this past year P-doging as my short range rifle (100-200yds). I had no problem at close range but the dogs beyond 200-300 were hidden by the thick reticle. I contacted Nikon for info on a reti...

Ditto on the CZ Varmint. Awesome single set trigger, lapped barrel, fairly light weight, and accurate. Ken

bullet swap berger for ?

I have 69, 40gr 22 cal Berger bullets factory coated in moly that I would like to trade for any brand in either 20 or 22 cal. I now shoot WS2 coated bullets and these have been sitting on the shelf and thought that one of you guys might want to try them.
Thanks, Ken

Robert, You are correct. Midway does not carry the Final Finish system for the 20 cal. It has to be ordered from them directly at 806-323-9488. I purchased an Encore Pro Hunter barrel in 204 that shot really well, but I had a heck of a time cleaning it. I used the special instructions for good barre...

LowPro, You might want to stick with the Encore since you already have the frame. A few months ago I purchased a Pro Hunter 204R barrel on Ebay and paid $250.00 for it, and I couldn't be more happy with it. With little experimenting I'm getting 1/4" to 1/2"with the 40gr Bergers, 1/2" ...
