Cabelas will be opening this fall in in Lacey, WA which is just south of Seattle. They will be opening a location in Montreal in the next couple of years, but I doubt they will be out as far west as Vancouver - too many tree huggers and granola crunchers out this way. Cabelas or Bass Pro may open a ...

Tough to get stuff directly out of the US due to their export laws. Basically, all components, ammunition, firearms, certain scopes and gun parts generally with a value in excess of $100 require a permit in order to be legally exported out of the US. I was just at Russell's Sports in Calgary today a...

Madk1w1, Our American friends have given you some great suggestions on places in British Columbia to visit (thanks guys). Although I'm biased, I think that Western Canada - especially BC is the most beautiful part of the country with the east coast/Maritimes be a very close second. If you were think...

New Bergers?

Hi everyone. I just read on BR forums that Berger has a new 70 gr bullet in 20 cal. Has anyone heard of these yet? Berger's website makes no mention of them, but if they're new... I'm thinking of rebarreling one of my other guns to 204 and if I can get heavier bullets, I might go with a faster barre...

Rick, Nice surprise to hear you started out north of the border! I live and work in Vancouver, but was born and raised in the interior (Vernon) and I still consider that home. How far up Island did you used to reside in? I've spent some time in Woss, but that's as far as I've gone. My brother-in-law...

I'm looking to pick up a flash whole tool too and think I'm going to go with the K&M tool because it indexes off the top of the case head rather than the case mouth. I suppose if you trim all your brass to 1.84" it doesn't really matter, but in theory I think indexing off the case mouth is ...

I just bought the basic Wilson case trimmer. It cost about $30 and another $7 for a case holder for the 204 (you may actually need 2 holders if you trim new brass AND once fired). It's a neat little unit and you can add more accessories to make it even easier to use if you want to later. For the lev...

I just ordered a Lee collet neck sizing die in 204 on Friday. I had to order it directly from Lee online and had to buy the complete die set. It is much more expensive to buy from Lee directly ($35 for the set with similar sets selling at Midway for $25), but I didn't know how long it will take for ...
