Re: Definition of Willpower :)
You have more willpower than I do! I went to a gunshow yesterday and walked out with a Browning A5 Light Sixteen!
I took fifty bucks with me so that something like this wouldn't happen...dang those ATM's!

Finally got my 16 gauge A5!
I've been in love with the Browning A5's for some time now and have been looking for one in a 16 gauge. I passed one up a few years back because I was still in school and didn't have the funds... Well on Saturday I to the gun show that was in town and at about the 4th table I looked at, there she wa...

Re: Savage Mark II vs Savage 93 action
Rick - That is a sweet looking set up you have there! I'm looking forward to seeing one of the CZ's. So far it's I've only seen pictures on the internet. I'm hoping they will have some at the gun show in my area later on in February. I think the set trigger on the 453 is going to be sweet :wtg: . I ...

Re: Scope options for my Anschutz
The eye relief is the reason I'll be getting rid of the scope that is currently on the Anschutz. It just doesn't work for me!
Rick - I sent you a PM.

Re: Scope options for my Anschutz
I've got an variable 36 power that came with the gun on there now but I hate the eye relief. I'm going to check out the gun show here at the end of the month and see if anyone actually has one of the competition scopes. I'd like to see it in person before picking one up!

Scope options for my Anschutz
Has anyone use a Leupold FX-III Silhouette Golden Ring 30x40 scope? I'm looking to put a new scope on my bench .22 and I am leaning towards a fixed power scope this time since the gun is typically dialed in to shoot 50 yards and rarely shoots anything longer than that. The other option I am looking ...

Re: Savage Mark II vs Savage 93 action
I'm getting a .17 HMR for sure! If I can get a CZ 453 Varmint to shoot like this I'll be extremely happy!

Re: Savage Mark II vs Savage 93 action
Well my brother has a Marlin Mach 2 that shoots very nicely expecially after we did the trigger. I've been reading so many good things about the CZ as well so I think I am leaning that way. At some point I will be adding a Weatherby Mark XXII to my collection but for now I think...man so many choice...

Re: Which one do I pick?
Rick - my reloading bench is only about 3 months old...give it time and it'll probably look like yours  !! I'm just starting my collection of tools and componets as you can tell from the pictures, my shelves are pretty bare! However since those pictures were taken I added 8 pounds of H322, a po...
Re: 17 HM2
My brother won a marlin bolt action (17 mach 2) in a raffel and it shoots very well. The only thing we've done with the rifle so far is replace the trigger with a rifle basix.

Re: Which one do I pick?
Well I made a run to the gun shop over the weekend and pictured up of reloading components. I was able to get 600 rounds of .204 loaded up Sunday afternoon! I'm very happy with the Harrell so far :D . It is very consistent and the smaller drop tube is perfect for the .204. I picked up some component...
