Re: Cooper Model 21
Hey Trigger, My Cooper Model 38 in 20 VT is by far the most accurate rifle I have ever owned. And it's not the guy pulling the trigger. I've allowed several of my buddies to shoot it and they too claim the same thing. It's just boringly accurate!!!!

Re: Cooper Model 21
The 20VT is by far my favorite caliber. And if you are building one in 20VT you may think about going with a different caliber on the Cooper Model 21. However, I have a Model 38 in 20 VT and a custom build. I have no plans on selling either one. They both shoot incredible and I love those small Mode...

Re: ?? Re: 218 Mashburn Bee
You should certainly join Saubier. Great group of guys over there. That's how I met Bill K and Rick. You and I must be 2 of the weird guys or something because I am really struggling with Data on the 218 Mashburn. Seems like not too many people shoot the 218 Mashburn. Although I've tried Google I ha...

Re: ?? Re: 218 Mashburn Bee
Obviously, work up to these loads. This is what works in MY rifle. Don't use 218 bee brass where I call for 25-20 brass... I had the best results fireforming with 25-20 WCF RP brass as described in my previous post. With 25-20 brass I use 12.7gr of IMR 4227, WSR, and a sierra 50gr bullet (1340); oa...

Re: 20 vartarg
I feel like I'm missing out!!!! Every piece of 20VT Brass I've ever made I've just shot. No neck turning at all. I've used R-P 221 Fireball and also 222 Rem made into 20 VT. After fireformed out I only neck size for my Cooper. Haven't loaded any after fire forming for my custom build. I just use the...

Re: ?? Re: 218 Mashburn Bee
I just checked out Hodgdon Website. It looks like CFE BLK and H4198 are at or near a compressed load. Pressures still seem pretty low. I'd be willing to bet that with the added capacity of the Mashburn Bee I could get a few more grains in the case with little to no change in pressures and push the b...

Re: ?? Re: 218 Mashburn Bee
Bill K, I"m finally a member here!!! Thanks for posting the question for me last night. I like the sounds of CFE BLK in the 218 Mashburn Bee. That will be best bet for velocity. I firedformed 50 pcs of brass today. Blew the shoulders out on 4 pcs. Wasn't too happy about that. But now I at least...
