If you tie flies, you have to shoot one now and then with a shotgun. :D

I learned that a long time ago with the .17 Rem. Not many feathers left.

Thanks. I stopped in the Hamburg PA Cabelas store yesterday and picked up the FX3 - they were sold out of the FX5, but I had a coupon and gift certificate to use up, so I took the FX3. I hope to get out over the holidays, and have not had much success with mouth calls. I'll look into upgrading later.

FoxPro FX3 or FX5 ??

I was just getting ready to order a FoxPro FX3 and learned that they now offer the FX5. Is it worth getting the newer model?

Thanks for your comments, Rick - I couldn't say it any better. I've been using Leupolds since the mid 60's, and after trying a few other brands, would not buy anything else. I don't have quite as many as Rick, but all my guns wear them. I never ran over one with a truck, but I did drop one and broke...

Outlaws - Cabelas has the HSM load with 40 gr. Bergers in boxes of 50 in their stores, if you live near one. I got a box and they shoot well in my Ruger. I don't see them in their catalog or on line.
