Re: Remington XR-100 RANGEMASTER Opinions???
Buy a Savage(just kiddin') :D On a serious note, I don't think you should give up on that TC just yet. Sometimes it takes a couple hundred rounds down the tube to get them to settle in. If I was you I would hold off a little bit b-4 I gave up. By the way that's a nice looking gun you got there. :mrg...

Nice looking pieces. I can't believe how much talent we have on this forum. Not only shooting talent but also the talent to build things. Great work by all. Looking forward to next years shoot.

204um Challenge info.......
Skipper wanted us to write a few things about equipment and techniques we used in the shoot so here it goes. The rifle I used is a model 12lrpv. Everything is stock on this rifle, I haven't even bedded the action on it. I figured why mess with it because it's always shot great. I did work on the acc...

Re: My Factory/handload secrets of success
Hawkeye, that's one great looking range you have there. Your right, maybe you should start a benchrest comp at your club. Don't let them see your practice targets or nobody will show up  Great shooting and congrats on being top dog again. Maybe n/year someone will get you. We're all guni...

Re: The 204um Challenge Winner's Circle
Jo, I'm shooting n135 yet and 35gr berger. No moly. I once had an old guy that reloaded tell me to keep it simple. I've followed what he told me and it seems to be working out. I shot my lrpv in the shoot. I should have shot my 12fv also. It seems to keep up pretty well with the other. Buy the way, ...

Re: The 204um Challenge Winner's Circle
Great job by everyone. Congrats to Hawkeye for doing it again. Your one fierce competitor when it comes to this shoot  On the note of a hot barrel on my target I think it was more of a dirty barrel. When I got to the range I was sighting in on another target and was having so much fun that I lo...

Re: Cleaning patches
I had the same problem as you with my .204 jag. I switched to a .17 jag and use .22 caliber patches because they are alot easier to find. It works great for me Hope this helps.

Re: Murphy's law
What bullet are you shooting and how many rounds do you have down your tube. I had the same problem w/39gr bk's. After about 400 rounds the gun seemed to hate them. They shot lights out b-4 though. Changed to 35 gr berger and all is well again
