Re: Appreciate an update on N-133.

If you have some you might as well give it a try. There are some folks on this forum that have tried it and I'm sure that they will chime in soon. All that I use is Viht powders in all my guns. I use N-135 in my 204 and it works great for me. Haven't tried 133 yet  but if I do I will let you k...

Re: Keyhole help!?!?

I'll bet that it's copper fouling. My brother in law just bought a new 204 and had the same problem. My friends and I decided it was either copper fouling or a bad crown so I took it home and loaded it up with butchs boreshine and let it soak for about 10 hrs. You wouldn't believe how much copper ca...

Re: New Remington 700 LVSF Loading and Jamming problems

I've got the same promblem in a 700. It feeds fine until I get to the last shell in the mag. The tip of the bullet hits way under the ramp. :wall: It's really aggravating.

Go get yourself some 39 gr BK. My LRPV loves them. Also check out Hawkeye's Benchmark load w/35 gr bergers. I'm sure you'll find a load that shoot's bugholes soon. Your gonna love the gun you just got. 8)

Re: Getting started

Do you have a stoney point to measure distance to lanse? I own the same gun as yours and I load 10 thousands off lanse. With 39 gr bk my overall length is 2.447. This length also works very well in my model 12fvs. (HTH)

Re: New 204

Sounds like it's going to be a great rig. As said b-4 let us know how she shoots when you get it all together. I know that I love mine. Try some 39 gr bk too. Mine shoots them well.

Hawkeye, that is one great looking piece. Is the stock redone or is that still original. If it's original---WOW :D

Re: Extraction problem

Normally heavy bolt lift is a sign of high pressures. Is this happening from factory loads or reloads? Sounds kind of strange if it is just one out of how many you were shooting at the time. HTH
