Re: 2022 Five Shot Challenge Input Needed
To do a 200yd. bench shoot here in the Appalachians I would have to head into town and setup on main st.

Re: Fox Pro?
I think FoxPro is an excellent choice. I bought my first one when the came out with the FX3, (whenever that was), then they offered an upgrade to the newer FX5 which I did. I've run the FX5 for a lot of years now with never a problem. Bought a FoxPro Fusion a year and a half ago and have yet been ab...

That had to be an excellent trip. The success was a bonus for sure.

Re: Anyone use the Nosler 34 Grain HP bullet?
That is great to know Bill. I took an inventory today on my 17 cal. bullets and I'm in great shape, but I have a friend who's considering going with a 17 Rem. and he'll have to start from scratch. So, those bulk 25gr. bullets will be a life saver for him.

Re: Anyone use the Nosler 34 Grain HP bullet?
Read somewhere that the reason Nosler came out with the 34 grain, cup and core bullet, was for the commercial hunter/shooters in Australia and/or NZ for their shooting of rues and such. So if that is correct, then they must be a good game killer. I know from critters, I have shot with them, they pu...

Re: Anyone use the Nosler 34 Grain HP bullet?
I use them mainly as a paper bullet for the son in laws. They like to use my rifles for benchshooting and save their factory ammo. They like my reloads for their rifles but don't want to get into reloading. :chin: I need to become more persuasive. :D Oh, and I have 6 of them, plus a couple of grands...

Re: What would you do????
I've got a book in my library titled "Bolt Action Rifles" by Frank deHaas. Which version is best? Version? Not sure what you're referring to there, Jim. One version, one book. Are you asking which bolt action rifle was deemed 'best'? That's not what the book is about. It covers, in extrem...

Re: Opinions on handloading new brass-
I see where many shooting Coyotes with a 223 are recommending the Speer 52gr. hp flat base bullets. I noticed in Tom's photo a box of Speer 52gr. hp bullets, while they don't look like the flat base bullets, they still might be another good choice.

I would Rick, but since they changed the format I have a hard time posting anything on that forum.
