Re: he got carried away.....

thats a mess, thats the only way to do them, headshots. We lamp foxes all year round here and due to my addiction to headshots I see messy ones but I have to admit that is one of the worst I have seen.

Re: Still Too Much Bullet.

At one time here highland furs were giving us £15-20 for a fur which is roughly $30-40. We used to snare more foxes than shoot and in a week we could have caught up to 8 foxes and as they were snared there was no pelt damage, it was a nice bit of money on the side. Its a pity how things have chan...

Re: Still Too Much Bullet.

I will have to agree with trevort on the 39g blizking a bit hit and miss, I have had mosty good results with it though, but by far the no 1 for little damage is the 32g v-max, I suppose the most important thing is that you avoid the shoulder bone as I dont think it will matter what your using when y...

Re: Still Too Much Bullet.

I use my .204 for foxes and while I dont set out to save fur as the selling of it is illegal now over here. But If I could give you some advice I would say try either the 39g blitzking or even better the 32g v-max. I have shot alot of foxes and with the 39g blitzking I experienced exits but they wer...

Re: not been out for a while

I not exactly sure where the breeding for this dog has came about, I own the mother of this pup and my dad owns it mother as well and they have always been bred with fox terriers, this pup looks exactly like her mother. One thing is for sure they make great rabbit/rat catchers, very tame pets but pu...

I have used both on foxes and have to say I much prefer the 32g vmax over the 39 or 40 ballistic tips. The 32g almost never exit and turn the inside of the fox into a complete mess, I havent actually had much problems with bad surface wounding, the bullet seems to get in there and do its job well. I...

just been doing some more checking today at this, coloured the offending round's in with black marker and tried to chamber, it seems to be on one side just before the shoulder, I checked where it was and it lined up with the E in winchester at the case head so I rotated the round and it chambered wi...

This is only once fired brass that I have only started using recently as my other batch was done. I checked ...

hi there skipper, thanks for the reply, I would guess, mine is probably just nudging over 4000 then as my barrel is 26 inch but doubt the cooper barrel would be as quality as your panda's. Do you mean hot load as in loaded hot? dont really want to run her too hot but it was the most accurate load cl...
