Re: Saubier.com problem
Tried that and it won't work. I can only do the "contact" at the bottom of the page. I can not send any other messages, post or a reply. I can also sign in, but that's it.

Re: A good handgun rest?
You posted this in June 2010; Can any of you guys recommend a good sturdy pistol rest? i was looking at the hyscore and the shooters ridge rests but i cannot find one in a store to actually hold it to see how sturdy they are and to see if it will fit my pistol. I'm shooting a SBH with a 10in. barrel...

Re: Looking for recommendations for new gun.
I would stay with the same scope and reticle that you are currently using on your Remington 204 for the new CZ. I shoot a 20 Vartarg in a Cooper and Remington with a Nightforce SHV and MOAR reticle on both rifles. I like being able to pick up either rifle and see the exact same reticle. I use 2nd FF...

Re: Tick-Tock....it's almost time
The fellow in the photo below looks like he on a Caldwell BR Pivot Table. Is he? If he is, how well do these particular tables hold up. I've been looking for some time for one of your old tables, but they are not to be found. What table is the other shooter using? http://i.picasion.com/resize89/0b69...

Re: 40gr vmax without btip
If you reload, try the 39 gr or 36 gr bullets. Removing the ballistic tip will not help. You didn't mention what twist you have, but my guess is a 12 twist. If you had a faster twist barrel it would stabilize the 40's a lot better.

Re: Load help
I agree with what Skipper told you. After you know the barrel's clean then proceed on with your testing. Use a Lock-N-Load gauge, Sinclair seating depth tool, etc. and start with the bullet touching the lands and start backing off. When I was looking for a load for my 20VT, I loaded up 5 rounds star...

Re: Experience with .204 Ruger/varmint hunting?
While I have no knowledge of the 204 Ruger at all, I use the .20 Vartarg. You can easily see all your hits and misses. Simple to reload and you'll be able to shoot longer as the 204 Ruger barrel heats up rather quickly from what I have read. Tons of information out there on the 20 VT.

Re: Is the Cost of Reloading really worth it?
I now shoot a lot of 20 Vartarg and the only place I know that sells the ammunition is Hendershots. I bought a box (20 rounds) from them and most of them shot okay. Some would not even chamber. With the cost of those rounds and shipping it was over $2.00 a shot. Thanks to Rick in Oregon and RAMOS fr...

Re: The one shot zero
That may work well on a large caliber, but not a small caliber. I shoot 20 VT and it takes me 2 rounds to sight in. Shoot one and then dial the cross hairs to the bullet hole and your very close.

Re: Cooper Model 21
I just had my Cooper 21 in 20 VT rebarreled by Pac-Nor for $735 which includes shipping both ways. Pac-Nor was able to give me zero free bore where Cooper wouldn't. Pac-Nor also included a chamber gauge. If I remember right, Coopers free bore is .05. The Pac-Nor barrel has the exact contour and fini...
